This week continue to take notes on your tree observations. Think about what problems/threats might affect your tree. How could we help solve those problems or better protect and care for your tree?

Has anything changed since your last observation?
What things might be a problem for your tree and might have a negative affect on your tree's well being and growth?
What could we do to help the tree live long and continue to be a healthy part of our community?

Comment with your room number and assigned letter.

1.Nothing has changed since my last observation.
2.Evergreens are very tough, so not much could be a threat to it's growth, except people and some animals.
3.You could make sure it got enough water and sunlight.

Old age could be a threat to my tree. It could also be hit by a car because it is planted near the street. You really can't do anything about old age but if people are careful about driving I don't have to worry about that either. Nothing has changed from my last observation.

Nothing has changed since my last observation.
Something that is efecting my trees growth is the weather. It gets warm and then cold. Warm for a few days then cold for a while. It really confuses the tree.
My tree could get warm weather and a lot of miostrure to be a heathly part of our community. Oh! AND NO FUNGUS!!!!!!

My tree has not grown since the last time I checked. The weather has effected its growth. I'm pretty sure the ring will be thinner than last year or some year in the past. My tree has no leaves or flowers now but maybe my tree will have flowers some day.

week 3 Iforgot to write last week. My tree shades my deck and backyard. My tree has little leaves that are good for my compost. Of course my tree gives us oxygen. My tree is good for squirrels becacause cats can't get them. My tree is also good for birds bacause it's good shelter and not many things can get them. Stinkbugs like my tree bacause they blend in the bark.

Week 4
Some problems that might affect my tree are disease and bugs. A way I can protect my tree from bugs is to to spray it. To protect my tree from disease I can call an arboriest to check my tree. A thing that might affect my tree's growth is not getting enough sunlight or water. My tree looks very healthy. It's branches have been pruned. It gets plenty of sunlight and water . It's not too close to any house. I think my tree will live a long time.
