This week continue to take notes on your tree observations. Think about what problems/threats might affect your tree. How could we help solve those problems or better protect and care for your tree?

Has anything changed since your last observation?
What things might be a problem for your tree and might have a negative affect on your tree's well being and growth?
What could we do to help the tree live long and continue to be a healthy part of our community?

Comment with your room number and assigned letter.

yes thing changed from my last observation the tree has lost lots of leaves.
i think the weather will be a problem because windy days it blows away the leaves to make sure nothing go on with the tree

1. A problem is pollution. I find lots of litter near my tree. To help my tree I always pick it up and put it in the trash.
2. I have noticed that there are little buds on my tree.
3. We could also make sure that we don't litter as well.

-It has less spiky fruit falling.
- It has trash around it.
-We should pick up the trash.

It is a good idea to pick the trash up.

- Nothing has changed
- A problem is storms and pollution
- To help my tree once a week I would clear it's surroundings (pick up the trash) and pick up bark from storms

-Problems that could threaten the longitivity of ny tree's life are global warming, people restricting the tree's growth, and litter.
-I haven't gotten a chance to see my tree, but I assume that the tree hasn' t changed much besides the possibility that leaves could have grown on the tree. It is also probably recovering from winter by letting sap flow through it again.
-We could prevent my tree and many others from getting negatively effected from certain things like global warming, restriction of growth, and litter by using less energy/recycling, letting trees grow wherever they grow, and simply throwing garbage in trash cans.

Sorry just noticed the typo; it should be longevity where it says longitivity.

-The bushes and other plants around my tree have started growing leaves, but not my tree
-A tellophone wire is touching my tree. This is be bad for the tree if the wire is to snap
-To help my tree someone could move the wire so that neither the tree or the tellaphone line will be damaged

-There are some very tiny buds growing on the branches and the moss appeared again
-The pollution in the air and the trash on the ground
-We should carpool more and walk to close places instead of driving there to make the air cleaner. Also, we can pick up the trash, not litter, and tell the goverment to put up no littering signs so people won't litter or they will be fined

-Nothing has changes since my last observation.
-A problem for my tree might be that my dog has been digging up its roots.
-We should water the tree more often, fertilize it, give it better soil and protect its roots from the dog.

1.The roots have grown longer.
2.The negative affect can make my tree stop growing is the litter on the ground.
3.Stop littering, stop air pollution .To help my tree I could put a trash can next to it so the trash will be inside the trash can.
4.They might not care about my tree.
5.I will communicate to others about the importance about trees is by telling how they give oxygen and give homes to animals in need

-My tree could lack the water it needs from the trees next to it
-I can water it every week
-Buds have grown bigger

The problem that might affect my tree is the pollution, my tree has already started budding and pollution could kill the buds .To help the tree I will make sure to pick up trash off the ground and make sure nothing is harming the buds.I will make sure the tree has all it needs to live then it will live for a while.

Week 3:

It helps the environment by giving oxygen. The leaves are starting to grow back. There is cement and buildings around the tree. Sunlight can impact the tree. I can measure the growth by writing the data. My tree is an important part of the ecosystem because it makes nutrients and minerals in the soil. My tree helps the environment around it by giving homes to animals, making nutrients and minerals. My tree helps the human community by giving oxygen for us to breathe. How can my tree die without being cut down?

The leaves are little but getting bigger. There seems to be little sprouting buds with a seed on the tree.

My tree is growing close to a very big tree. I am afraid the big tree's roots could be growing into the little tree andpushing it over.

Don't mess with the tree: no climbing, not hitting branches. Water the tree if it gets really hot. Cut away branches from the big tree if they block sun.
