This week continue to take notes on your tree observations. Think about what problems/threats might affect your tree. How could we help solve those problems or better protect and care for your tree?

Has anything changed since your last observation?
What things might be a problem for your tree and might have a negative affect on your tree's well being and growth?
What could we do to help the tree live long and continue to be a healthy part of our community?

Comment with your room number and assigned letter.

My tree changed because buds are growing and it is about the size of a grain of white rice. The bud was a dark color. There is trash around my tree. I am planning to pick up the trash.

1) It has little bits of pink on it and the buds are getting bigger.
2) Large fires from our BBQs could harm my tree. Litter could slow or harm my tree's growth.
3) We can make sure the fire from the BBQ does not get out of control.

1. No changes on my tree
2. My tree is surrounded by cement and its roots are under the cement. So, the roots get less water and nutrients
3. We should give trees more dirt and soil to grow. The tree should also be watered so the tree has water when its super-hot to survive.
