I saw that the tree had a pole around it. it has a little bit of bark and no leaves and a little bit of branches.

My tree is taller. It has dark green leaves and the tree lives near other plants. It is covered with leaves. It is also narrow.

My tree is false mulberry tree. It is as tall as my house. It drops mulberries on our back porch in the summer.

My tree is located at Baltimore avenue and 45th street
It is giant and tall.It has white and dark black and brown bark, and prickly thorns.
Around there is streets and buildings.
I choose it because the holes are for the squirrels to live in and store acorns for the winter.

My tree is a mature tree.It has buds.
Some of the branches are thin.Some of the branches are fatter.
The bark fells rough.My tree is as tall as the second
floor of my house.

My tree is located in an apartment front lawn on the corner of 45th and Walnut streets. The bark is dark and looks cracked. There are lots of branches that form a round canopy. Today I noticed little dark buds are growing on all the little branches. There are also 6 large branches growing from the trunk. There's a piece of yellow caution tape tied to the bottom of the trunk.

1. There are new leaves on the tree.
2. The back of the leave are brown.The front of the leaves are shine.
3.The front of the leaves are smooth.The trunk has bumps and holes.The branches have bumps and cuts.
4. The leaves are alternate and simple.
5. I can take a measuring tape and measure the tree.

There is one change to my tree. The change is that there is one bud on the tree. I didn't notice before that there are old brown buds on my tree. My tree has a brown trunk. It has lots of long branches. It doesn't have any leaves right now. My tree is a mature tree. It has stayed about the same size for a few years. To measure my tree's growth we could measure how tall it is, or we could measure the thickness of the trunk.

I think my tree got bloomed but I am not really sure because the tree is really big and tall. My tree does not have any leaves anymore and it has specific smell. And I also noticed that seeds fall off down on the ground.

There are no changes on my tree since my last observation and I did not find any differences. There are many branches on my tree and they are skinny. There are no leaves. I think my tree is an old tree. It reaches to the top of my house. I can measure my tree using a measuring tape and a ladder.

3. The bark is smooth! The branches are symmetrical.
4. No I have no new thoughts based on what we learned.
5. Measuring the circumference with a tape measure. Also you can count the branches.

Some tiny branches on my tree fell and got caught in the lower tree branches. There are two small white sacks on the trunk which are very hard. I don't know what they are. My tree has large roots, a tall trunk, thick branches and thin branches. Since my tree is close to other trees and because my tree is so tall, it looks like my tree's branches join together with another tree's branches. I could measure my tree by taking a tape measure and seeing how tall the trunk is. I could also put the tape measure around the tree to see how thick it is.

My tree is starting grow buds now. The buds are egg shaped. My is tree is kind of skinny and tall. The branches are long and skinny

My tree changed since the last time I saw it! It started to grow buds and on some of my neighbors' flower gardens started to grow tiny flowers. I also saw some grass grow too. Also, when I looked at my house and my tree, my tree was a little taller than my house!

There were not any changes to my tree from last week. I didn't notice anything different from my first observation. I think you could measure the tree's height and how the trunk grows out.

The buds on the tree grow bigger. Last week there were not many buds on the tree, now there are a lot more buds. I think they will turn into flowers. The tree trunk is thinner than my head. Its bark's color is dark brown.
If we don't have trees, it will not be a neighborhood, because when the weather is hot, we don't have any shade. We don't have any wood to make furniture and pencils. I can use a tall ruler to measure the tree trunk.

The tree got more taller than slanted. The tree has different parts. There are lots of branches. My new thought based on what we learned in class is that squirrels live in it.

Everyone is doing a great job observing and describing their tree and the changes! Don't forget to use the new skills you learn in science class. What type of leaves are on your tree?
